Each year, the community nominates women who have a heart for children’s issues to become Brighton’s Queen of the Vine.  After nomination, the women are briefed and sent out to get votes.  Each vote is $1 each and the woman with the most votes is crowned Queen of the Vine every March.  The Queen represents the children of Brighton at numerous Fiesta events and by heightening awareness in the public and the media. The Queen of the Vine works hard to ensure that every family and every child who may need services knows that Brighton is here to help.  

The 2010 Queen of the Vine will be crowned at the Coronation on March 26, 2010 during an evening filled with a wonderful dinner provided by the Club at Sonterra, drinks, and celebrating! 

The Queen will then go on to reign over A Taste of the Northside.  This official Fiesta Event is to benefit the children of Brighton and their families.  Enjoy wines, foods, music and a silent auction under the beautiful Texas stars.  For more information on A Taste of the Northside, please visit www.BrightonSA.org.
